Let me introduce myself.. I m Kabul Saikia, General Secy; Society for Ailing Mankind And Justice.
We have been developing ICTs in Assam , a province in India. In Assam more than 85% people are living in rural areas and more than 35% people are living below poverty line. The per capita income is one of lowest in India.
Our mission is to provide Computer literacy to the rural masses at an very affordable price. Apart from that we provide information on health-care, Agriculture, education etc.
I would like to know if you could join us with your expertise to assist and to empower the poor in India.

Thanks for your invitation. I am very honored to be part of GAID Champion's Network.
I will share experiences and efforts towards a knwoledge society, especially through a learning by doing methology for Developing Countries.
As General Director of ALETI and also part of WITSA, I focus on ICT Industry growth, as a way to improve quality of the society, especially when industry-government-academia-NGOs work together.
One of the issues that catches my attention now is how to settle a Network of R+D and Innovation worldwide. There are several financing programmes, in differente countries, International Developing Banks, and also in International Cooperation FP7 of European Union.
